Due to our client's trust and the success of our projects, we are expanding our team and seeking a talented individual for the role of:
Business Manager
Your Role: Driving Growth in the Nuclear Sector
Reporting directly to an Activity Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects or business units within EDF sites. Your key focus will be ensuring the smooth execution of work across all involved nuclear sites and securing our market share while expanding our presence on client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of approximately ten individuals, including team leaders and installers.
- Manage a portfolio of businesses and actively contribute to its growth and development.
- Ensure the achievement of set objectives and results for entrusted business units.
- Oversee all aspects of assigned businesses, encompassing technical, managerial, commercial, quality, and safety considerations.
- Exercise sub-delegation authority within defined limits.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client requests, demonstrating a strong understanding of the market and its evolving technical landscape.
- Manage responses to quotes and tenders, ensuring accuracy in documentation, pricing, and deadlines.
- Authorize quotes, specifications, minutes, contracts, adhering to annual sub-delegation limits.
- Verify and approve supplier invoices.
- Establish financial balance sheets and forecasts for business units, following established procedures.
- Manage the organization, planning, monitoring, control, and objective setting for realization teams, logistics, and resources (human and material) required for contract execution.
Ideal Profile:
We seek a candidate with a technical background and a minimum of 5 years of experience in business management. You possess strong managerial and commercial skills, thrive in a hands-on environment, and enjoy collaborating with teams and clients to support businesses and identify new opportunities.
