Precious Metals Business Development Director

Redstone Search is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our precious metals business. As the Precious Metals Business Development Director, you will be responsible for building and executing a global strategy for the division, driving its growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global strategy for the precious metals business, aligning with company goals.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Oversee trading and marketing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Work closely with internal departments to establish global precious metal operations and logistics processes.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand market share and increase profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
- Provide thought leadership and insights into the precious metals market, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for the division.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the precious metals industry, with a strong track record in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of precious metals trading, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Ability to make strategic decisions to solve short-term and longer-term challenges.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis tools.
