Business Development Manager

As a key member of the European Club Association (ECA) team, you will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships with our member clubs. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a primary point of contact, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and accurate information.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with member clubs to promote knowledge sharing and facilitate the delivery of essential information and services.
- Act as a liaison between ECA and member clubs, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Provide expert advice and support to member clubs on various matters, including football governance, competition regulations, and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including club representatives, football governing bodies, and other industry partners.
- Contribute to the development of ECA's membership services and programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our member clubs.
- 3+ years of experience in account management or a related field within an international environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and database management, as well as presentation with PowerPoint.
- Proficient in using CRM or membership management software, MS Dynamics is a plus.
The role can be based at ECA's offices in Nyon, Switzerland, with travel across Europe to attend ECA events and visit member clubs. Alternatively, it can be performed remotely, with occasional travel to ECA's offices as needed.
ECA is the sole independent body directly representing football clubs at European and International levels. With a current membership base of more than 500 professional football clubs from across the continent, ECA is the representative voice of European clubs on the international football landscape.
