Position: Field Sales Executive - Rouen Area

In the role of Field Sales Executive for the Rouen area, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and align your efforts with the overarching commercial strategy. Your primary objective will be to cultivate a diverse portfolio of clients and prospects who require express and international parcel shipping services. You will be tasked with recognizing opportunities and delivering tailored solutions to fulfill customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing an established portfolio generating 3 million EUR in turnover while engaging in B2B client acquisition activities in the field, maintaining a balanced approach of 50% customer retention and 50% market expansion.
  • Identifying and assessing key contacts and potential clients.
  • Providing customized product offerings to meet client specifications and developing pricing proposals that align with the commercial objectives.
  • Serving as a liaison between various departments and clients, including customer accounting and marketing.
  • Maintaining accurate databases and activity logs.
  • Conducting market analysis to stay competitive within the sector.
  • Delivering regular updates and reports to your direct supervisor.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a commercial or sales-related field (minimum BTS diploma) and have at least one prior commercial role (including internships and apprenticeships) as a Field Sales Representative or Commercial Engineer in B2B sales. Strong commercial insight and exceptional interpersonal abilities are crucial, along with a talent for quickly establishing trust with stakeholders. Experience within the transportation sector is a plus.
