Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in France. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets for Renishaw products to end-user customers, developing business through channel partners, and advising on process control and implementing key projects with customers to achieve sales and growth targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow business in the assigned area
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders
- Provide technical sales support and training to customers and channel partners
- Identify and exploit new business opportunities and provide commercial and technical solutions to customers' needs
- Manage and maintain a qualified enquiry pipeline report in CRM to ensure sufficient quoted business to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, and trade events around the country and the assigned area
- Travel to potential and existing customers within the assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness
- Utilize outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings to engage with customers and channel partners
Requirements:
- Proven experience in solution sales with proven knowledge across all elements of the sales process
- Experience with engineering products in B2B markets, ideally industrial metrology, automation, aeronautics, electronics, or related
- Strong commercial acumen and project management skills
- Full, valid passport and driving license enabling regular travel
- IT experience (ERP- MS Office)
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time (exhibitions and key accounts)
- French as a native level or bilingual
- High level of English (verbal and written)
