Role Description:TCS is seeking a Paris-based Legal Counsel to join the Europe Legal team and support TCS business teams across a broad range of legal topics.
The successful candidate will join a talented, innovative, and diverse team of legal counsels and contract managers in Europe, primarily supporting business activities in France, with exposure to Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
The role will focus on matters in the French geography, with a primary responsibility for negotiating and reviewing IT/outsourcing, digital, and software contracts in the private and public sector.
Key Skills and Requirements:- Fully qualified French legal counsel, ideally with additional experience or qualification in Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese law.
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the field of IT outsourcing, digital offerings, IP, software licensing, and data privacy.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in French and English language.
- Ability and mindset to work as a business partner and combine legal expertise with practical advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel within the company, clients, and vendors.
- Intercultural sensitivity and interest to work in a diverse environment.
