About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stress Engineer to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for the structural analysis and stress assessment of our aircraft, ensuring the safety and reliability of our products.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with our design and airworthiness teams to develop and implement stress analysis methods and tools. You will also be responsible for the analysis and validation of stress results, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform static and fatigue analysis of aircraft structures using finite element methods (FEM)
  • Develop and implement stress analysis methods and tools to support design and airworthiness activities
  • Collaborate with design and airworthiness teams to ensure stress results are validated and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct failure analysis and fatigue evaluation to identify potential stress-related issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support stress analysis activities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in stress analysis and structural dynamics
  • Strong knowledge of finite element methods (FEM) and stress analysis software (e.g. Nastran, Hypermesh)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
