About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stress Experienced Engineer to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a key member of our airframe stress engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our Super Puma helicopters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct static and fatigue analysis of helicopter structures using finite element methods (FEM)
  • Develop and implement stress analysis models to predict loads and stresses on helicopter components
  • Collaborate with design and airworthiness teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate complex technical information to stakeholders, including subcontractors and team members
  • Participate in the development of new stress analysis tools and methodologies
Requirements
  • 5 years' degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in stress analysis and structural engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of FEM software, such as Nastran and Hypermesh
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Advanced level of French and English language proficiency
