About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stress Engineer to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for the structural analysis and stress assessment of our aircraft, ensuring the safety and reliability of our products.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with our design and airworthiness teams to develop and implement stress analysis methods and tools. You will also be responsible for the analysis and validation of structural components, including the primary and secondary structures, as well as major equipment such as hoists, floats, and fuel tanks.

Our team is responsible for the whole Airbus Helicopter fleet, and we are looking for someone with a strong background in stress analysis and a passion for working on complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stress analysis and structural assessment of aircraft components
  • Develop and implement stress analysis methods and tools
  • Work closely with design and airworthiness teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Validate structural components and major equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering, preferably in stress analysis
  • Strong background in stress analysis and structural dynamics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Advanced level of French and English
