About the RoleAs a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of CMA CGM's strategic customers, building strong relationships with decision-makers, and developing growth strategies across all CMA CGM brands, regions, and trades.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute account plans to drive commercial growth and increase customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
- Support the inside sales team in their missions, providing guidance and coaching to ensure their success.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with customers, working closely with product owners to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor industry trends and evolution to identify new business opportunities and share insights with management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A postgraduate degree in International Trade or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and shipping activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the shipping and logistics industry.
- Proficiency in IT and Office tools, particularly in advanced Excel.
