Nemera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to lead our global laboratories. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategic direction of our laboratories, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Define the strategic direction of our laboratories, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Leadership and Management: Supervise laboratory staff, manage laboratory operations, and oversee the implementation of new processes and tools.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration and communication across the organization, promoting best practices and sharing knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Physical Measurement, Mechanical, Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Sciences).
- Experience: Proven experience in laboratory management, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, with experience in team management, resource allocation, tracking, and staff training.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in technical and international collaboration.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of laboratory processes, method validation, equipment management, and compliance.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of GMP, GLP, Safety, and other relevant regulatory standards (ISO 17025, ISO applicable to laboratories).
