Director of Business Development

At KCAS Bio, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development group, you'll play a critical role in furthering our mission by partnering with new and existing customers to help them better understand our bioanalytical and biomarker services, and next-generation therapies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business by engaging in proactive prospection activities, including cold calls and emails
  • Identify sales opportunities consistent with our company portfolio of services
  • Develop, maintain, and extend relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and additional account growth
  • Support our company brand in all interactions, including being a positive brand ambassador
  • Collect and communicate internally for proposal generation in collaboration with contracts/client services team
  • Ensure accurate transmission of information to our operational team
  • Report weekly activities into our CRM system
  • Organize client visits and audits in collaboration with related teams
Requirements:
  • University degree (Master equivalent) in biological science-related fields
  • Prior sales experience in the biotech industry (minimum 3 years)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and French
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
