Event Sales and Revenue Growth Specialist

Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort is seeking a skilled Event Sales and Revenue Growth Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing total revenue potential for the hotel across the Conference & Events market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming event leads professionally through all channels.
  • Provide detailed conference and events proposals covering venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs to ensure revenue is maximized.
  • Coordinate and host familiarization and site inspections.
  • Assist in coordinating sales forecasts and provide suggestions on strategies to achieve targets.
  • Update and maintain accurate account profiles in the database systems.
  • Prepare and deliver event information to event coordinators, ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Ensure success in delivering customer events to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years' experience within the Conference & Events sector in a sales role.
  • Strong focus and passion for hotel operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
