Overview:
The Client Relationship Executive is tasked with cultivating and overseeing all business activities related to financial institutions and markets that fall under the treasury division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance client partnerships and explore business prospects with local financial entities and sovereign clients in the French market and other permitted regions.
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Due Diligence assessments for financial institutions and market clients.
- Initiate, renew, and oversee credit arrangements for financial and sovereign institutions, including the collection and analysis of annual reports and other relevant data to support credit evaluations.
- Develop and promote deposit services (EUR, RMB, USD, etc.) with French financial institutions.
- Facilitate cross-border trade finance initiatives, matchmaking, and RMB-related business in the French market and other authorized territories.
- Oversee the issuance, investment, and post-investment activities of bonds and other negotiable securities, including services for EUR/RMB/USD/CNY denominated bonds for CCB Group or its subsidiaries.
- Promote and manage cross-border custodian services in the French market, enabling eligible channels for foreign institutional investors to access the China Capital Market.
- Execute trading operations for clients in foreign exchange, financial futures and options, interest rate instruments, and negotiable securities.
- Participate in the management of the bank's liquidity in accordance with guidelines established by CCB Europe.
- Operate within the Money Market following directives from the Operations and Finance department.
- Supervise daily cash positions, liquidity, interest rate, and currency risk for the branch.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of financial markets, products, and processes, generating regular market updates and reports.
- Support the corporate investment banking division in delivering financial market solutions for corporate and investment banking clients.
- Carry out general administrative tasks related to client management, including annual reviews, reporting, transaction document negotiations, and relationship management.
- Complete various tasks assigned by local branch management and the EU headquarters' line management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated understanding of banking industry operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role within a commercial bank dealing with corporate and institutional clients/products; experience in Treasury-related functions is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong communication and listening abilities; capacity to convey complex information in a clear and straightforward manner; effective sales and negotiation skills; driven, proactive, and trustworthy.
- Capability to thrive in an international environment.
