Data Ingestion Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Ingestion Technical Support professional to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our GTS Data Platforms team, you will play a critical role in accelerating our Big Data and Analytics environment and contributing to our Schneider Digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to project teams to ingest their data into our global Big Data platform Raw Data Layer.
- Educate business projects on platform ingestion rules, standards, and best practices.
- Investigate technical issues and data failures, and verify and validate data ingestion as per requirement and quality standards.
- Enrich ingestion standard documentation and manage change requests on existing ingestion flows.
- Hand over to support team when new data flow ingested is delivered.
Requirements:
- B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or relevant technical certification.
- 2-3 years of experience on AWS technologies (S3, Lambda, Step function, Glue, DynamoDb, EMR with Hive, PySpark).
- Project experience with Python, Redshift, LakeFormation, ETL tools, and Big Data technologies.
- Proficient knowledge in SQL, Linux, and data processing and data transformation flows.
- Solid presentation, communication, and inter-personal skills, with ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders.
