What is the role?
In this position, you will report directly to the Purchasing Manager of a Business Division within Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.
As a Specialized Procurement Officer, your primary focus will be to ensure that all procurement tasks are executed efficiently and completed promptly to support the operations of your designated Business Division. You will also oversee and cultivate a portfolio of EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services providers) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturers).
Key Responsibilities:
In your role as a Specialized Procurement Officer managing a portfolio of EMS and ODM, you will be accountable for:
o Conducting the supplier selection process for new initiatives.
o Negotiating contracts, amendments, and terms with suppliers.
o Developing and managing the commercial relationships with suppliers.
o Driving continuous improvement in supplier performance.
o Identifying commercial risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
o Handling escalations with suppliers, EMS, and ODM.
o Advocating for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's Purchasing strategy and policies within the organization, including facilitating production transfers when necessary.
You will also engage in shaping the purchasing strategy for one of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's Business Divisions and will be responsible for managing relationships with internal partners and key suppliers (EMS, ODM, OEM).

Do you possess 5 to 10 years of successful professional experience in the telecommunications sector or in the electronics products and/or manufacturing industry?
