Sales Development Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Development Engineer to drive business pipeline growth and collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and understand different industries and personas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop specialized knowledge in customer applications, trends & industries.
  • Propose and implement demand generation strategies based on industry and account insights.
  • Report and forecast business impact.
  • Define and implement prospecting activities with a strong emphasis on business impact.
  • Connect Emerson's value proposition to both new and existing contacts.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship within the Global Sales Development team.
  • Contribute thought leadership and share lessons learned with the Global Sales & Marketing Team.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape the future strategy of the Global Sales Development team.

Requirements:

  • Engineering or MBA background.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Sales experience and/or industry experience in Test for Aerospace Defence, Semiconductor, or Transportation.
  • Genuine desire to accelerate Emerson's business growth.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven, creative, flexible, strategic thinker, and a hands-on, 'doer'-approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • German or French language capabilities.
  • Proven track record in defining strategy for demand generation.
  • Experience with Emerson's Test & Measurement Offerings.
