Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • The primary objective of the SIMULIA Strategic Account Executive is to meet revenue goals and growth targets within their designated region (specific accounts and Brand offerings). This role encompasses comprehensive customer interactions from initial lead generation to final closure, adhering to the DS Sales process guidelines while achieving the revenue plan.
  • Articulate the value of 3DS and its strategic vision by advocating for the Brand Promise and Industry Fundamentals to secure customer commitment towards a long-term business transformation, for which the executive will be responsible for driving value (through the DS Framework).
  • Utilize the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform as the preferred medium for fostering close client relationships, while coordinating 3DS Ecosystem activities and deliverables.
  • Market and sell designated offers (Brands) within a specified territory.
  • Conduct comprehensive sales engagements in accordance with the DS Referential, leveraging the DS Platform as a communication tool both internally and externally.
  • Oversee negotiations with clients, ensuring compliance with all 3DS engagement protocols (Finance, Legal), as well as government and local regulations, DS policies, and ethical standards.
  • Develop a successful sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maintain growth objectives, utilizing sales initiatives defined by Brands and others.
  • Drive growth in the assigned territory based on insights derived from Industry Market Analysis.
  • Convert Marketing and Sales leads into viable Opportunities.
  • Coordinate 3DS responses to Requests For Proposal (RFP).
  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships at the executive level and throughout all tiers of the client organization to ensure sustainable business for 3DS.
  • Advocate for the 3DS vision and Brand Promise.
  • Contribute to best practices informed by Lessons Learned (including Root Cause Analysis, Analytics, and Loss reviews).
  • Utilize and maintain the DS CRM in accordance with corporate guidelines, ensuring that data remains current.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales of engineering and simulation software.
