AI Services Specialist Leader

Oracle is driving the digital revolution, empowering nearly half a million businesses worldwide to unlock untapped potential and achieve real business value. As an AI Services Specialist Leader, you will play a pivotal role in connecting customers with Oracle AI technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of technical experts, including recruiting, hiring, and training new specialists.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to provide deep technical expertise and support business growth.
  • Develop and maintain deep technical expertise within the team on AI Language, Vision, Document Understanding, Speech, Digital Assistant, and other cloud offerings.
  • Establish a strong interlock with the engineering team to ensure the Specialist team can develop expertise on new features and services.
  • Identify go-to-market challenges and facilitate access to this information for product engineering teams.
  • Pilot new technical features with customers.
  • Ensure compliance of internal processes and quality of team's work.
  • Position Specialists as industry thought leaders for their respective focus areas.
Requirements
  • Manage a team of specialized resources that can identify business requirements, craft proof of concepts, provide expertise to internal and external teams, and document patterns and reference architectures.
  • Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations, lead aspects of the technical sales process, and advise internal and external clients on best practices related to pre-trained AI.
  • Guide customers in their application modernization journey through innovation.
Skills and Profile

We are seeking a professional with solid experience in Cloud Infrastructure, application development, and pre-trained AI, able to understand customer issues in their journey to Cloud and application modernization. The ideal candidate must have a strong Cloud IaaS/PaaS-oriented mindset, a broad understanding of application development frameworks, and proven hands-on experience in application modernization initiatives.

The role requires effective leadership, a positive work environment, and the ability to build and manage technical teams, work with various stakeholders, and adapt to new challenges and changes in the workplace.

Key requirements include:

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and take informed decisions.
  • Wide background in architecture, implementation, and delivery of application modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in planning and delivering AI-enhanced applications with quick time to market.
  • Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches, including conversational AI, image recognition, speech to text, and text to speech.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IT market and trends in relation to pre-trained AI.
  • Proven, hands-on knowledge of Python and SQL.
  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Applications portfolio.
  • Knowledge of AI-related offerings from AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Cloud Application Development or AI-related certification.
  • Cloud architecture certification (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google).
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
  • C-level presentation expertise.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
