Transform Spaces and Drive Business Success

The VELUX Group, a world of opportunities, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join its global People & Organisation team in France. As Regional HR Director, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's human resources strategies and driving business growth in Region Southwest.

About the Role

You will balance people and business, supporting leaders across functions in strategy execution and enabling teams to perform at their best. With a strategic mindset and proven business insight, you will oversee an international team of professionals operating in areas like organisational design, leadership development, talent management, and change management.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Membership of the Leadership Team in Region Southwest
  • Strategic HR-related discussions and decision-making as a sparring partner to the senior management team
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 4 HRBPs across the region
  • Translate the global strategic approach to human resources and execute these strategies, ensuring an aligned HR plan with global and local priorities
  • Ensure capability development to match business needs, ensuring both long-term and short-term focus
  • Challenge leaders at a strategic level, ensuring proactive planning and including a data-driven HR approach
  • Be the local advocate for our global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program
  • Align HR strategy with the business agenda and trends, including external market perspectives
  • Define, facilitate, and influence change in an organisation in transformation
  • Coordinate with other strategic partners, business areas, and CoEs
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and best-in-practice framework for all markets
  • Develop and coach leaders in alignment with business strategy
  • Facilitate strategic workforce planning
  • Prepare reports for management about employee turnover, new hires, resignations, training, and development

Travel Requirements

Approximately 30 days annually, both nationally and internationally.

About You

With a strong background in human resources, you have a proven track record of making sound strategic HR decisions and assessing executive leadership talent. Your experience in managing international teams, commercial excellence, and sales organisations will be invaluable in this role. As a dedicated and influential leader, you are confident in your ability to navigate changing environments and promote an inclusive, diverse workforce.

Your Salary

The estimated salary for this role is €85,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
