Position Overview

HP is seeking a Digital Services Business Development Manager to drive a transformational change in the reseller channel. This role is ideal for individuals with strong sales and business management skills, experience in services and software, and a passion for emerging technologies. The successful candidate will be based in a global organization and responsible for a set of partners and countries. Key responsibilities include understanding and driving sales targets, executing centrally designed initiatives, and analyzing market environment and challenges. The role also involves establishing business governance with the partner landscape, managing current channel activities, and recruiting new partners. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for partner enablement, software solutions partner enablement, and services and solutions channel programs deployment. The Digital Services Business Development Manager will work closely with the market channel sales team and provide feedback on products, pricing, value proposition, sales enablement, and growth initiatives to the global business units and country sales organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner enablement: value proposition, collaterals, trainings
  • Software solutions Partner enablement: SW Cloud team engagement, partner certification training, offer digital services bundles, enable partners on HP SW sales, coordinate & alignment with category market teams
  • Support business ramp up, vertical solution integration, tracking leads and funnel with market teams, services and solutions channel programs deployment, partner Solutions joint business plan for top partners, PBM education on channel tools, programs, growth initiatives, business dashboards & analysis, linkage to technical support resources

Requirements
  • Hunting profile able to convince HW partner to focus on solutions and recruit new non-HP solutions and software partners
  • Ability to work autonomously in a matrixial environment, learn, grow and act quickly
  • Ability to understand technical capabilities and turn them into business opportunities with partners, outcome based selling capabilities: understanding partner/customer needs and propose best solution
  • Services sales background, partner management experience, good mix of analytical and action-oriented mindset, good communication skills within Market and on global level, English proficiency
