Capijobnew is seeking a seasoned presales professional to join our team as a Technical Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering pre-sales and technical expertise to our key customers in the public sector space.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate and present current SAS solutions and future direction to clients.
  2. Lead teams working with the Account Executive in all customer-related activities involving SAS, ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.
  3. Help ensure that customers maximize the value of their SAS purchase and adoption, resulting in preservation of renewal revenue.
  4. Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information across both organizations.
Main Deliverables:
  1. Engage clients at executive and other levels to nurture and enhance relationships.
  2. Deliver up-to-date information on our capabilities, including roadmap and strategic direction.
  3. Establish and maintain a strategic partnership with clients.
  4. Serve as the primary technical contact between the Account Executive, Systems Engineer, and other services available on all pre-sales activity.
  5. Work with SAS Professional Services to coordinate pre-sales efforts with paid consulting opportunities.
  6. Act as the strategic advisor to SAS users and customer IT management.
  7. Collaborate with the Account Executive to pursue relationships and opportunities in parallel to widen the bandwidth of sales activity, build trust with all customer contacts, and promote and maintain the integrity of the SAS/client relationship.
  8. Assist the Account Executive in developing and moving sales leads and opportunities forward.
  9. Work with the Account Executive to learn about customer business, identify latent pain, and set priorities on specific action items.
  10. Partner with the sales team to develop and manage an overall Account Engagement Plan (AEP) that documents all SSOs, Action Plans, the support resources (SE, consulting, etc.) required for each step, and the timeframes for all elements.
  11. Compile status reports and ensure that account action items are completed and/or escalated to the appropriate level of management when needed.
  12. Document how SAS is being used throughout the account. May periodically recommend changes or enhancements.
  13. Promote the use of other SAS technology, solutions, and resources (consulting, technical support, training, conferences) available to ensure optimal use and customer satisfaction.
  14. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive marketplace as well as key competitors at the client.
