Location: Paris, Lyon, Lille (Open to high-quality candidates across France)

Position Overview:

This client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Key Account Manager for their Automotive Vertical. This role is critical in managing and expanding relationships with key global automotive accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account retention, deep expertise in freight forwarding services, and a well-established network in both the freight and automotive industries. Fluency in French and English is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for global key automotive accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  2. Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow revenue and enhance customer engagement across air, ocean, and road freight services.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the automotive sector.
  4. Leverage your established network within the automotive and forwarding industries to identify new business opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of freight solutions that meet client expectations.
  6. Act as an advocate for clients, understanding their specific logistics challenges and developing innovative, customized solutions.
  7. Regularly monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to drive continuous improvement and maintain this client's leadership in the automotive vertical.
  8. Ensure contract compliance and manage negotiations to safeguard both the client's interests and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in global account management, specifically within the automotive and freight forwarding sectors.
  2. In-depth knowledge of air, ocean, and road freight services is essential.
  3. Strong network within the freight forwarding and automotive industries.
  4. Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  8. Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with large multinational automotive companies.
  2. Familiarity with industry-specific software and logistics management platforms.
