Position Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant to join our esteemed consulting practice specializing in Systems Engineering. This role is designed for a professional with a robust background in the Aerospace and Defense sectors, adept at developing and overseeing intricate system models utilizing recognized tools and methodologies. The position will primarily involve collaboration with clients, with a focus on delivering exceptional consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to assess system requirements, design system architectures, and guarantee the effective integration of systems across diverse projects.
- Utilize your strong communication skills and analytical mindset to drive innovation in systems engineering practices, guiding clients towards successful outcomes.
- Leadership: Exhibit strategic thinking and critical analysis, translating insights into actionable strategies. Lead diverse teams with confidence, promoting collaboration and acknowledging both individual and team contributions.

- Willingness to travel as required, with current travel expectations around 20%.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or an MBA is preferred.
- 15-20 years of relevant experience is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in organizational change management, focusing on successful transformations within large organizations.
- Strong grasp of model-based systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in a consulting environment is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with the enterprise business motivation model (EBMM) and its significance in business transformation.
- Deep understanding of the interdependencies among Systems Engineering, Program Management, Configuration Management, and Contract Management.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Additional Success Factors:
- Experience in delivering technical training or curriculum.
- INCOSE Certification (ASEP or CSEP) is a plus.
- Possession of OCSMP certifications or Architecture Certifications is beneficial.
Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with ISO, SAE, EIA, IEEE, ANSI, RTCA, and other relevant standards.
Compensation: The compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience, with a total expected range reflecting both base salary and target bonus.
