About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst with expertise in Veeva Systems to join our team at emagine Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Elicitation: Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders using techniques such as interviews and workshops.
- Communication Skills: Develop strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and other team members.
- User Story Writing: Write clear and concise user stories that capture the needs of end-users and stakeholders.
- Product Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure it reflects the needs of the business and aligns with delivery capability and capacity.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including business users, other business analysts, and development teams.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile methodologies, including experience in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Analytical Skills: Analyze complex business processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions using various analytical techniques.
- Technical Aptitude: Develop a basic understanding of software development principles and technologies.
- Documentation Skills: Document requirements, user stories, and other validation documentation using tools like Jira and HP ALM.
- Testing and QA: Understand software testing principles and work with QA teams to ensure developed solutions meet specified requirements.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and manage disagreements within the team or between stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: Commit to understanding and meeting the needs of customers and end-users.
- Domain Knowledge: Understand the pharmaceutical clinical trial process, including knowledge of relevant technologies, trends, and regulations.
- Technology Knowledge: Experience with and knowledge of Veeva Vault products, particularly Vault Clinical or CRM, and/or SIP.
Requirements:
- Experience working with multiple applications/projects in parallel with internal and external stakeholders/third-party vendors/development centers across multiple locations.
- Experience in Application Support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IT-compliance (SOX) and operational excellence models.
- Project Management experience is an advantage.
