About the Role:
As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our wine and spirit categories within assigned retail outlets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies that align with company objectives and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Analysis & Insights: Conduct thorough market, competitor, and performance analyses to identify growth opportunities and trends within assigned categories.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive category strategies, including assortment recommendations, innovation plans, promotional activities, merchandising initiatives, and pricing strategies.
- Client Collaboration & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with store directors, negotiate action plans, and regularly monitor and review performance to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze results, and provide insightful reports to management on category performance and progress towards goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Category Manager within the FMCG industry, preferably with a focus on wines and spirits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business intelligence tools.
