Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY FRANCE. As a key member of our Local Business Unit, you will be responsible for driving growth and capturing new opportunities in the French market.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the energy transition of our business unit in France, identifying and capitalizing on new market trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive demand and growth, working closely with internal Sales Teams and Global Key Account Managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Promote our complete Transformers portfolio in France, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of our products.
  • Develop and implement market intelligence and competitor analysis, providing regular updates and insights to the team.
  • Support the development of our BU 2030 strategy plan for France, identifying key initiatives and priorities.
  • Lead company-wide exercises related to market and budget, including MIMO and GTS.
  • Drive growth initiatives across different product lines, segments, and channels, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Collect and showcase success stories and customer testimonials, highlighting the impact and value of our products and services.
  • Support the development of pilot opportunities for new products, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Participate in country marketing events, representing HITACHI ENERGY FRANCE and promoting our brand and products.

    Your Background:

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in sales, management, and engineering.
    • Knowledge of the local market in France, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and trends.
    • Experience in Transformers products is a plus, but not required.
    • Fluent in French and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to travel regularly, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
    • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and lead cross-functional teams.
    • Required skills: negotiation, teamwork, influencing leadership, and proactivity.
