Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to support our Transformers Local Business Unit in France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for capturing new opportunities in the local market, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the energy transition of the business unit in the country, identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive demand and growth, working closely with internal Sales Teams and Global Key Account Managers.
  • Stay up-to-date with market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer needs, providing regular market intelligence updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Promote the complete Transformers portfolio in the country, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement the BU 2030 strategy plan for the country, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Lead company-wide exercises related to market and budget, including MIMO and GTS.
  • Drive growth initiatives across different product lines, segments, and channels, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.
  • Support the collection of success stories and customer testimonials, highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Help bring pilot opportunities for new products to market, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in country marketing events, representing the company and promoting our brand.

    Your Background:

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in sales, management, and engineering.
    • Knowledge of the local market in France, with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
    • Experience in Transformers products is a plus, but not required.
    • Fluent in French and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to travel regularly, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
    • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and lead cross-functional teams.
    • Required skills: negotiation, teamwork, influencing leadership, and proactivity.
