R&D Contract and Risk Management Specialist

You will be part of the Shared Services Unit at Maizières campus, ArcelorMittal's largest Research and Development site, which is a key asset in Global R&D's organization. This site brings together a diverse group of experienced researchers and young talented individuals from over 30 nationalities, working on result-driven projects.
Your Role
As a Contract and Risk Manager, you will report to the ArcelorMittal Maizières Research CFO and be responsible for:
- Preparing contract drafts based on internal templates and collaborating with in-house legal functions for non-template questions
- Managing the entire contract lifecycle, from receipt to signature, implementation, and archiving
- Ensuring compliance of contracts and purchase orders with internal processes
- Supporting teams in calls for tender, ensuring compliance of their responses
- Collaborating with the company's legal and compliance departments to mitigate risk exposure
- Training and supporting teams on compliance processes and procedures
- Contributing to the drafting of the annual report
- Managing legal formalities related to AM Maizieres Research boards of directors and general meetings
You will interact closely with various functions in Maizières and in-house legal functions, particularly when drafting and signing simple contracts.
Your Profile
- You hold a Master's degree or equivalent experience in contract law
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, preferably in the industry or R&D sector
- You are fluent in French and have daily professional English practice
- You possess expertise in managing the contract lifecycle, mitigating risks, and maintaining opportunities
- You have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach
