R&D Contract and Risk Management Specialist

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer, is seeking a highly skilled Contract and Risk Manager to join its Shared Services Unit at the Maizières campus, a key asset in Global R&D's organisation. As a Contract and Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of contracts and risks across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare contract drafts, liaise with in-house legal functions, and manage the entire life cycle of contracts.
- Check the compliance of contracts and purchase orders with internal processes.
- Support teams in calls for tender, ensuring compliance with responses.
- Interface with legal & compliance departments to mitigate company risk exposure.
- Train and support teams on compliance processes & procedures.
- Contribute to the drafting of the annual report.
- Manage legal formalities relating to AM Maizieres Research boards of directors and general meetings.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in contract law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sector related to industry or R&D.
- Fluency in French and daily professional English practice.
- Deep expertise in managing the contract lifecycle, mitigating risks, and maintaining opportunities.
- Strong team spirit, effective communication, and organisational and interpersonal skills.
