About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Management Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Systems Platform, you will play a critical role in delivering winning bids to our regions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tender strategies to secure contracts for Alstom's Systems Platform
  • Assemble and manage QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments for tender proposals
  • Lead bid teams and coordinate tender works, allocating clear targets to team members
  • Drive solution definition, capturing client requirements, and addressing gaps to ensure compliance
  • Monitor and manage QCD commitments, identifying gaps and ensuring all commitments are secured and properly documented
  • Deploy risk assessment mechanisms and propose viable plans to overcome anticipated risks and obstacles
  • Submit proposals to clients, including offered solution descriptions, project implementation schedules, and contractual documentation
  • Contribute to clarification and negotiation of contracts, ensuring feasibility of changes and updating QCD commitments
  • Transfer contracts to project teams when successful and contribute to return of experience through win-loss analysis
  • Deliver accurate and transparent reporting to management on tender progress and main stakes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • 4 years of bid management experience in complex tenders
  • Confirmed experience in working on international businesses in consortium
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and influence, negotiate, and communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Fluency in English, French, and Spanish
