Global Operations Transformation and Process Engineering Director

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for leading and managing multiple programs, developing program strategy, and driving innovation. The role collaborates with stakeholders to keep them informed of program progress, escalations, and evaluates program plans for compliance. The role proactively identifies areas of continuous improvement and implements changes in products, processes, or business practices as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead key programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for multiple products or service offerings for a Global Business Unit.
- Direct the development of overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements for the Global Business Unit.
- Manage activities of supporting program teams and internal and external development partners; ensure alignment with unit strategy and own responsibility for overall program profit and loss management.
- Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with business unit management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.
- Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors.
- Work with engineering project managers, product design, operations, to identify and resolve the risks associated with early builds.
- Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing engineering organization.
- Review and evaluate program plans and guidelines for compliance with program management guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.
- Coordinate with management to ensure proper procedural compliance, maintenance, and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment.
- Lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.
Education & Experience:
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.

Base Pay Range: The base pay range for this role is $137,000 - $211,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
