Position Overview: As the Country Manager for Biobest France, you will hold the pivotal role of overseeing the entire operations of the company. Reporting directly to the regional Sales Director of Biobest, you will collaborate closely with the management team across various sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement strategic initiatives aimed at boosting market visibility and driving sales growth.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide your team to achieve these objectives effectively.
  • Product Commercialization: Promote our range of products (including Beneficials, pollinators, and biopesticides) throughout the French territory, while exploring new agricultural sectors and applications.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside sales and supply chain departments to enhance distribution and logistics efficiency.
  • Financial Planning: Develop annual profit and loss statements and budgets that align with Biobest's strategic goals.
  • Market Forecasting: Ensure product availability through precise market predictions and intercompany procurement.
  • Compliance: Maintain adherence to company policies and French regulations across all operational facets.
Candidate Expectations:
  • You possess a strong passion for sustainable agriculture, with a background in Agro-science, Bio-engineering, or a related field being advantageous.
  • Your entrepreneurial mindset and practical approach are evident in your work.
  • You have a proven track record in leading and empowering teams through effective coaching, delegation, and fostering trust.
  • Your strategic thinking skills enable you to identify, prioritize, and resolve critical project and partnership challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities allow you to lead, engage, negotiate, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • You have a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
