Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial & Business Development Assistant EMEA to join our team at Estée Lauder Companies. As a key member of our EMEA Commercial & Business Development team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our Wholesale channel, including online and brick-and-mortar sales.

Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial & Business Development Assistant EMEA, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Business Reviews and Leadership Meetings: Assist in the preparation and facilitation of business reviews and leadership meetings, including top-to-top meetings, monthly commercial leadership meetings, and monthly regional brand meetings.
  • Treating and Cascading Retail Sales Reports: Treat and cascade weekly and monthly retail sales reports from top regional retailers to affiliate and brand teams.
  • Preparing Quarterly Reports: Prepare quarterly reports for Global top management, including the Sephora report.
  • Collaborating with Sustainability Teams: Collaborate with sustainability teams to include relevant SKUs in retailer sustainability programs.
  • Coordinating Marketing Presentations: Coordinate annual marketing presentations between regional brand and top retailers.
  • Supporting Contractual Investments Analysis: Support the preparation of analysis of contractual investments.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum Education Level: Completing a Post-Graduate Degree in Business or Engineering (equivalent to a BAC 5).
  • Minimum Years and Area of Experience: Previous internship experiences are mandatory, and end-of-studies internship is preferred.
  • Required Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, and French is not mandatory but recommended.
  • Licenses or Certifications: Completing a Post-Graduate Degree in Business or Engineering (equivalent to a BAC 5).

  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare impactful presentations.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and properly manage exposure with senior management.
  • Business Sense and Curiosity: A business sense and curiosity mindset, with the will to drive for impact in all projects.
  • Ability to Step Back and Solve Problems: The ability to step back, be solution-oriented, and make proposals.
  • Knowledge of Beauty or Luxury Goods Industries: Knowledge of or interest in the beauty or luxury goods industries is recommended.
