Overview of the Strategy and Stakeholder Support Division

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate strategic directions for urban renewal initiatives and future investments, while continuously refining intervention methodologies.
  • Oversee project execution, including contract management and financial scheduling.
  • Implement a support strategy for urban renewal participants and forthcoming investments through training, operational assistance, and knowledge dissemination.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of urban renewal initiatives.
  • Facilitate innovation and engage in forward-thinking discussions.
  • Manage international project activities.

Main Duties (including travel as required)

As a member of the Strategy and Stakeholder Support Division, the Project Coordinator collaborates with the Economic Development, Employment, Integration, and Urban Agriculture team to enhance the capabilities of urban renewal participants. The coordinator will engage in:

1) Overseeing 'Les Quartiers Fertiles' initiatives:

  • Provide expert guidance and technical support for project implementation.
  • Coordinate with operational teams for project contracts and oversight.
  • Establish a framework for project evaluation.
  • Manage external expertise for project assistance.
  • Report to funding bodies regarding project progress.

2) Managing partnerships in urban agriculture:

  • Collaborate with funding organizations and urban agriculture stakeholders.
  • Engage with diverse participants in urban agriculture.
  • Facilitate the advancement of urban agriculture initiatives.

3) Cultivating the urban agriculture stakeholder network:

  • Organize and lead the community involved in 'Les Quartiers Fertiles.'
  • Develop resources and tools for urban agriculture stakeholders.

4) Providing expertise in urban agriculture:

  • Serve as a reference point for urban agriculture within ANRU and beyond.
  • Support local initiatives and contribute to the agency's strategic framework.

5) Contributing to departmental activities:

  • Assist in the implementation of sustainable urban initiatives.
  • Participate in innovative projects and future-oriented initiatives.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the agency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of urban agriculture and urban renewal.
  • Familiarity with governmental and local authority operations.
  • Expertise in financial engineering related to urban agriculture.
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Ability to coordinate partnerships effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Practical and operationally focused mindset.
  • Self-sufficient and well-organized.
  • Proactive with a curious approach.

Educational Requirements:

A minimum of a Master's degree, preferably in agriculture, urban planning, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in agriculture, urban planning, or sustainability is preferred.
