Join Our Team as a Building Automation Solutions Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Distech Controls, a leading provider of building automation solutions. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional technical support services to our customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to our building automation solutions
  • Update customer databases and log internal notes
  • Collaborate with product development teams to provide customer feedback and insights
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and products in the field
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in a relevant field (e.g., technical support, IT, HVAC, or controls)
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in technical support, IT, HVAC, or controls
  • Strong knowledge of building automation systems, including NiagaraAX/4 Framework, electromechanical building, instrumentation and controls, programming, and process control
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of control system protocols (e.g., BacNet, Echelon, LonWorks, Modbus, EIB)
  • Experience with access control and lighting systems
  • Programming and computer network configuration skills
