Account Manager Quality Control Systems

As a key member of the Production Process and Analytics (PPA) business unit within the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and commercial activities. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the selling and account management efforts for Quality Control Systems (Gauging) in existing markets, thereby contributing significantly to the growth and profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales targets by providing accurate forecasts, collaborating with external partners or directly engaging with customers, and improving long-term business results.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, explore avenues for expansion, and improve market penetration.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with other territories, product lines, product management, and service teams to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time to meet with customers and partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in sciences or equivalent technical background.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in sales to industrial clients within the Metal, Packaging, Converting, and/or Battery Manufacturing markets is highly valuable.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in French and English, with additional languages such as Italian and Spanish being welcome.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and internet applications, with knowledge of SFDC being a plus.
  • Organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and meet timelines.
  • Proven commercial excellence working in a matrix environment.
  • Valid driving license.
