Tooling Operations Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tooling Manager to join our team at Daher. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing tooling lists, organizing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring the quality of our tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tooling lists, including those on customer software, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Organize and conduct periodic tooling inspections to identify and address any issues.
- Manage the tooling team, including OT maintenance, OT design technicians, programmers, and other support staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve tooling efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with business managers to ensure consistency of specifications and quotations.
- Take responsibility for tooling quality and ensure that all tooling meets the required standards.
- Organize the validation and production launch of modified or improved tooling in accordance with lead time commitments.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
- Lead and manage a team, ensuring that employee skills are developed in line with business developments and the needs of the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tooling management and industrialization.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of QSE (Quality, Safety, and Environment) principles and practices.
