**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Development Manager to join our team at Uptoo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the public markets sector.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the public markets sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the region, including government agencies and public sector organizations.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including tenders and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences to inform sales approaches.
**Requirements**
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales, particularly in the public markets sector.
- Strong understanding of the public markets sector and its key players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
