Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote Thermo Fisher Scientific's NGS clinical solutions to existing and new customers in the academic medical center, routine and pathology testing lab, and hospitals.
  2. Drive the adoption of NGS technology in various markets while exploring its potential applications in pre-clinical and clinical settings.
  3. Manage the opportunity pipeline from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring timely execution.
  4. Meet revenue targets and deadlines by effectively implementing regional forecasts and conducting regular business reviews.
  5. Maintain accurate customer information in Thermo Fisher Scientific's CRM (Sales Force).
  6. Develop strategies and tactics to grow existing and new businesses in targeted accounts, protect current base business, and increase market share.
  7. Enhance customer value and satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with key Thermo Fisher Scientific collaborating partners, savant society, and key decision-makers.
  9. Respond to customer requests and issues with a sense of detail and urgency.
  10. Deliver excellent business presentations to various audiences, demonstrate strong listening and influencing skills, and estimate 50-75% travel.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field, with relevant experience; or an MS degree in Life Sciences. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  2. Demonstrable success in complex selling in the healthcare market, specifically in vitro diagnostics, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
  3. Proven experience in sales, NGS sequencing, and molecular biology.
  4. Understanding of healthcare industry standards, guidelines, and environments.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
