**Job Summary**

The Revenue Management Strategy Director will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial strategy for Orient Express' luxury cruises, focusing on revenue optimization and growth. Reporting to the Vice-President Revenue Management & Business Performance, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies to maximize net ticket revenue delivery across the full selling cycle.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize net ticket revenue delivery across the full selling cycle.
  • Manage and optimize all revenue streams, including pricing, inventory, and cost management.
  • Play a key role in setting up distribution systems and rolling out Business Intelligence ecosystems to effectively track performance, strategy assessment, customer insights, and competition tracking.
  • Monitor long-term performance and complete revenue forecasts to accurately project demand.
  • Optimize pricing strategies through definition and management of all rates, rate levels, terms, and conditions.
  • Maximize cabin/room revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory, content, and rates.
  • Take into account the analysis of the competition's offer and the evolution of Silenseas capacity.
  • Establish regular and reliable performance projections through cruising and trend monitoring.
  • Manage Yield through different revenue management levers.
  • Guarantee erosion control through control of the scope and level of erosion of each commercial offer.
  • Carry out reports and analyses, and participate in the budgetary process through the projection of volume and revenue objectives per cruise.
  • Manage revenue management tools and the integrity of associated data, and issue alerts and make recommendations to enable the achievement of objectives.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in Revenue management/Pricing/Distribution.
  • Strong business acumen/strategic thinker.
  • Perfect understanding of the luxury industry and how to drive topline revenue.
  • Leadership experience as a manager.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Required tech skills: Microsoft Office, worked with RMS/inventory system, database understanding.
  • Language: English (proficient), French is a plus.
