The Country Head France will be responsible for covering high profile clients/prospects while building and leading a sales team to effectively grow assets under management in the region. The role holder will set and implement a sales strategy for achieving revenue and profitability targets, in addition to performing key general management and control duties for Robeco France.

**Position & Requirements**

The roleholder’s primary responsibilities will include:

- Client-facing leader, managing and growing his/her own set of senior level relationships with clients and prospects
- Develop the annual & long-term business strategy and plans in line with Robeco’s overall strategy. Provide strategic direction and leadership to drive revenue and profitability targets
- Build, develop and nurture a high performing sales team and be accountable for the ongoing performance management of the team to ensure ambitious growth targets are met
- Work with clients, distribution and investment teams to assess, evaluate and drive new opportunities and the strategic direction in the region. Leverage industry knowledge to identify emerging sales trends
- Effectively represent Robeco globally with internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with Legal, Compliance and HR to ensure all internal controls are in place for the management of the office, ensuring that the requirements are fulfilled regarding advice, training and risk assessment for all of the office activities and staff performing those activities. **See appendix for further information.**

**Professional experience / qualifications**
- Experience working for an international (ideally European) organization and an international mindset
- Outstanding leadership, communication and organization sensitivity skills. Capacity to act as the external face of the organization with clients, consultants, regulators, industry groups, media and competitors
- Reputation for possessing a collaborative and team oriented management style, with a track record of success managing and driving initiatives with internal stakeholders within a global matrixed organization
- International perspective and ability to align business practices to local cultural differences to achieve business objectives
- Ability to build credibility at the most senior levels
- Highest standards of professional and personal integrity, combined with the sound judgment, maturity, perseverance and resilience of an effective business leader
- Excellent English language skills (ideally bilingual French and English)
