Shape the future of Sage’s fintech ecosystem As Manager of Strategic Fintech Partnerships, you’ll identify, develop, and nurture key partnerships to embed cutting-edge fintech capabilities into Sage’s core software products. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in fintech business development who thrives on creating high-impact relationships that drive revenue growth and market innovation.

This is a hybrid position with three days a week in the office.

First 90 Days:

- First 30 Days: Gain an understanding of Sage’s fintech partnership strategy, ongoing projects, and market positioning. Establish initial relationships with internal stakeholders and existing partners.
- Next 30 Days: Begin identifying potential fintech ISVs for strategic collaboration and lead discussions on partnership opportunities.
- Final 30 Days: Propose a roadmap for onboarding and managing new fintech partners, including key performance indicators and deliverables.

Meet the Team:
You’ll work closely with the Director of Business Development and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, legal, and sales, to deliver high-impact partnerships. The team is highly strategic, goal-driven, and focused on innovation, with a management style that values autonomy and creative problem-solving.

How Success Will Be Measured:
Your success will be evaluated based on the volume and quality of new partnerships, achievement of revenue and customer growth goals, and adherence to the performance benchmarks outlined in partner agreements. Contributions to the development and execution of Sage’s global fintech strategy will also play a key role in measuring your impact.

**Key Responsibilities**

Snapshot of Your Day-to-Day:

- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential fintech ISV partners.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, including NDAs and MSAs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement partner integrations and GTM strategies.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with partners, monitoring their performance against contractual commitments.
- Drive marketing and lead-generation activities with partners to boost adoption of integrated fintech features.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in fintech business development or strategic partnerships.
- Expertise in negotiating legal and commercial agreements (e.g., MSAs, NDAs).
- Strong understanding of fintech trends and ISV ecosystem models.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through strategic alliances.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of SaaS ecosystems and partner integrations is a plus.
