With innovative pre-fillable syringes, self-injection systems, safety systems and needle technologies, the Pharmaceutical Systems (PS) team offer an extensive selection of solutions designed to protect, package and deliver drug therapies.

We are now looking for PS OPEX manager located in Grenoble/ Pont de Claix to drive continuous improvement across 3 manufacturing sites (France, Hungary and Spain), support associates in the sites but also the BU to deploy the strategic and focus areas.

**Job Title**:Business Unit Operational Excellence Manager

**Role summary**

This position represents a fantastic opportunity for a talented, highly motivated, and positive individual to become a proactive member of BD’s global Operational Excellence (OPEX) community.

Reporting directly to the Director of the Business Unit Operational Excellence, the Business Unit OPEX Leader will be passionate about implementing a culture of operational and customer excellence, implementing change, and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) across the network through the BD Excellence.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the factories and guide them to achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) given top down by the business and bottom up and governance process across all functions and sites. Ensure alignment of action plans with BD Excellence maturity assessments, deployment models and strategic goals.
- Challenge existing paradigms, encourage and promote internal and external benchmarking. Develop and grow zero loss mindset across critical areas to optimize quality, delivery and cost while improving safety.
- People development, especially with regards to Business OPEX managers and Plant OPEX managers.

Coach, and demonstrate proficiency in BD Excellence concepts and systematic approach, including strategy development (SD), foundation components, Zero Loss mindset and all related methodologies / tools. Ensure execution of and resource breakthrough Kaizen events. Develop and grow capability through components and component teams to establish the fundamentals of excellence in safety, quality, and reliability.
- Continue to drive BD Excellence capability development and impact through deployment of progressively advanced aspects of component methodologies. Achieve long term CI objectives through cross functional alignment of all resources toward shared goals.
