The position is based in Neuilly-sur-Seine.

The Project Management Director - New Product Development reports to the Sephora Collection Operations Director and is part of the Operations leadership team. The role requires strong collaboration with Product Marketing teams and Sephora Collection expertise in the field of product/packaging development, quality and regulatory, compliance, purchase and procurement, and a large range of external suppliers worldwide.

**Manage and develop a team of Project Managers**:

- Lead project management team through tactical execution of project plans/timelines. Define roles and responsibilities of team members, manage team workload, allocate projects to team members to optimize resources.
- Oversee performance and project execution.
- Manage, guide, and develop the team to proactively anticipate challenges and define solutions.
- Challenge existing propositions and bring complementary point of view.

**Ensure the execution of projects and product launches**:

- Facilitate and drive the project management activity across the company.
- Ensure the construction and respect of the development costs.
- Drive relationship with major sub-contractors and define and drive end-to-end development planning (key milestones, gates ).
- Lead and drive the launch committee: share adequate information and KPIs, ensure regular follow up of key meetings, undertake and communicate on key actions to improve time to market.
- Anticipate and minimize potential risks and problems linked to project launches, ensure its resolution in a business-oriented approach, actively track leading indicators of teams’ progress.
- Be responsible of the KPIs (on time in full, time to develop) and share them with project steering committee and top management on a regular basis.

**Collaborate with and engage top management and key stakeholders at the company level**:

- Ensure communication to top Management and cross-functional partners, share a fact-based vision of project status and risks.
- Be the entry point in terms of network with the other companies of the LVMH Beauty division to develop our existing processes, tools, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Challenge business partners to achieve best results.

**Drive change management and continuous improvement**:

- Lead change management while implementing the new way of working and new organization, challenge the status quo, inspire innovation, contribute to process improvement initiatives, bring new ideas and define concrete actions to seek best solutions while collaborating with the business and Operations departments.
- Drive best-in-class project management methodology and tool development and use across teams.
- Demonstrated a strong track result in the project management field, ideally in the cosmetics industry, with a capacity to build strategy, develop methods and tools, and leverage the PM organization.
- Development strong leadership and management skills:

- Exceptional relationship building skills and communication skills with all levels and stakeholders.
- Strong communicator able to integrate and succinctly summarize issues and represent the development team with key stakeholders.
- Team player, entrepreneurial spirit, exhibiting strong objective judgement and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to see the big picture (the important) while remaining focused on near term deliverables (the urgent).
- You are hands on, happy to work in the fast-paces organization, always on the move, and manage a large scale of projects and extended network of stakeholders
- Full professional proficiency French and English, including 10 years’ work experience in beauty industry operations.
