**Making a difference in your new role**:
Throughout our 6 years of existing in the market and connecting job-seekers with employers, we have seen enormous success in the Netherlands and we are proud to say that we have successfully launched our product in the UK just last year. However, we don’t plan to stop here; our goal is to expand our business even further - this time launching in France

As the General Manager you have the exciting opportunity to take the lead in setting up Temper’s operations in France from scratch and help build our French team from the ground up. You will be the key player in driving the efforts to quickly establish a strong presence in Temper's second ever international market. Our objective is simple: become the leading platform for flexible work in France.

You will manage a team that will research client’s needs, build relationships with prospective clients and turn them into happy Temper users. If you are a person who understands the buyer journey and is excited about creating something new, about understanding the market and using their insights to take the business to the next level, if you have experience in prospecting and love the challenge of leading complex sales cycles, we should have a conversation

One of our top priorities is to create and maintain a great culture and a healthy and happy work environment for our team and we are looking for a leader who can dedicate themselves to and live our values.

While this role requires a strong sales acumen and leadership skills, you will also work closely with global teams to represent the market needs. In addition you will also represent Temper with external stakeholders such as local policy makers, governing bodies and media.

**Your 12-month journey at Temper**

During your first month in this role we want to have you learn everything there is to know about Temper. We will invite you to join us in Amsterdam to meet our team and help you understand the product, our vision and mission, our expansion playbook, commercial pitch, and more.

During your second month you will onboard your team and actively start selling to prospective clients in the Hospitality, Retail and Logistics industries. By the end of your third month Temper will be effectively launched in France and start generating revenue. After 3 months you will have taken full ownership of the day-to-day operations.

After 1 year, you and your team will have made Temper one of the leading platforms for flexible work in France and within the next 12 months you will have an opportunity to become the market leader
