Sales Specialist Cloud and Infrastructure

As a Service Line Specialist (SLS), you will be instrumental in Cognizant’s Consultative Selling approach. Your deep expertise in Cloud Infrastructure will allow you to collaborate with the Client Leadership Team to identify and secure new business opportunities and expansions. You will actively contribute to growing the service line's presence and engaging clients effectively.
**Key Result Areas**:
**Market Leadership**:
- Lead Cognizant’s Cloud and Infrastructure offerings in your designated market.
- Collaborate with various Cognizant practices in AI, Data, IoT, and Applications to enhance our share of digital innovation.
- Achieve annual sales and revenue targets for Cloud Infrastructure within your market and accounts.
- Work closely with Client Partners to develop and execute tailored client strategies.
- Provide expertise in proposal development and comprehensive solutions.
**Relationship Management**:
- Execute and manage account plans in collaboration with Client Partners.
- Strengthen existing client relationships through regular reviews and insightful perspectives.
- Engage with CXO, VP, and Director-level clients.
**Business Development**:
- Respond to client requests and RFPs effectively.
- Identify opportunities and propose proactive solutions aligned with account strategies.
- Lead pursuits as the owner to close new and expansion opportunities, working alongside the Client Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with relevant internal teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Participate in key account management activities, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Create and present account pipelines and executive status reports.
**Your Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years in senior consulting or account management roles, with a proven track record in selling Cloud and Infrastructure solutions.
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or ServiceNow, with strong relationships in these ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of digital transformation drivers, especially in Cloud and Applications.
- Strong connections within the Southern European market (France, Spain, Italy, Portugal).
- Recent experience in IT professional services or management consulting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.
- Proven ability to build and strengthen client relationships.
- Leadership qualities in conflict resolution, strategic thinking, and team collaboration.
- Fluent in English and proficient in French.
