Delivering various business development transactions/partnerships based in Europe aligned with corporate strategy, vision, mission and values. Also, managing alliances post signing of deals/agreements. According to the Group's strategic priorities.

**Mission - Business Development Skills**
- Lead the deal/transaction for various business development deals from licensing -in to distribution-in to production acquisition or divestments
- Sourcing of deals:

- Responsible for sourcing opportunities from partnering conferences, scientific & medical meetings, industry networks
- Evaluation
- Must work interdisciplinary and in collaboration with the relevant departments, taking into account the predefined target product portfolio
- strong business acumen, business opportunity analysis skills and development of new business cases
- Identify, review and assess new product and technology license and acquisition opportunities and develop recommendations to the Group and relevant stakeholders
- Execution
- Leader of the cross-functional deal team responsible for negotiating term sheets and execution definitive agreements, including managing the internal deal review and approval process.
- Ensures that the level of technical competence of the various functions within the Group is at the level required to achieve our strategic objectives

**Mission - Alliance Management Skills**
- lead and provide smoother transition from once the deal is signed to its implementation working closely with Project Managers.
- Exhibit strong partnership behaviours and understanding to facilitate implementation of a deal from “spirit” or the agreement to the “letter” of the agreement.
- be the primary conduit/contact with external partner in representing, protecting and promoting Group interests
- Identify, establish and manage strategic alliance relationships with academia/industrial research organizations and biotechnology/biopharma companies in Europe

Identify regional sources for collaboration and co-funding of research collaborations

**Qualifications**:

- Science degree preferred
- MBA required
- 7 to 10 years in business development in animal health or human health industry
