Technical Support Engineer

**Key responsibilities**:

- Handle customer friendly claims files in close collaboration with our sales, sales and other internal departments.
- Respond to various technical requests and recommend paint systems and products according to the site context, to the different interlocutors.
- Formalize recommendations following on-site visits, by carrying out Technical Implementation Advice for professional customers and more particularly on sites with a large surface area, the thermal insulation of walls from the outside and composite systems of external thermal insulation.
- Participate in the controls on the files performed by the sales force during the travelling.
- Give to sales force training and build PPG brand.
- Ensure competitive intelligence and market intelligence gathering

**Qualifications - Externe**

**Qualifications**:

- Graduated from a Degree + 3 in Technical Building Product or in Engineering School.
- A confirmed experience (3-5 years minimum) in a similar role or as a Works Manager is required.
- Customer and business oriented, you know the market: distributors, bodybuilders, manufacturers, aftersales truck manufacturers and competitors.
- Your social skills, analytical and synthetic skills, emotional intelligence and tact are key skills to be successful in this role.
- We expect from you rigor, resourcefulness, abnegation and ability to evolve in a results-oriented environment within a matrix organization.
- A fluent level of French is required and a proficient level of English is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Pack Office is required.
