Role Overview
Jacques Marie Mage is in search of a
Logistics Coordinator, EU
, who will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our EU based vendors and supporting the consistent flow of goods throughout the region. Acting as a key liaison between our European partners and the global operations team, this role ensures clear communication, accurate documentation, and timely execution of shipments. With strong attention to detail and organization, you will track and update order statuses, create shipments, and provide regular updates to the broader team on production and delivery progress.
- This role will be based out of our Paris office
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:
- Maintain regular communication with EU vendors to ensure on time production and schedules.
- Create and manage purchase orders and shipments in our ERP system.
- Coordinate outbound and inbound shipments to regional fulfillment centers and partners.
- Communicate updates and potential delays to internal teams, ensuring transparency and proactive problem solving.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support long term collaboration and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with logistics and operations teams in Japan, EU, and the USA to align global priorities.
- Track and update customer-facing order dates to properly reflect customer backorder dates and receipt forecasts.
- Coordinate the inbound flow of goods from factories based in Japan, Italy, and USA to our fulfillment centers.
- Support retail allocation / transfers on a per need basis
Key Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of experience in logistics/supply chain, operations, or vendor management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,Italian and French
- Moderate to Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Google Suite and AirTable preferred.
- Experience managing shipments and coordinating with freight forwarders or carriers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and communicating with global stakeholders.
